Occupational Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). MSDs are commonly problems with bones, joints, muscles and nerves, which result in pain and restricted function.
On-site Physiotherapy within the workplace can simply stop employees going off work in the first place or get them back to work sooner. Guidance can also be provided in relation to an individual’s condition and its implications in terms of facilitating a managed return to work.
In addition our on-site Physiotherapist quickly becomes familiar with the work tasks and demands associated with resident occupations.
With this is mind they can quickly identify any relationship between an individual’s condition and their working practices. Further guidance can then be issued in order to help remedy such difficulties within the workplace, benefiting both the employee and the company.
